Coopersville Area Arts Council
The Coopersville Area Arts Council (C.A.A.C.) is a Non-profit Corporation initially formed on May 19th, 2004 and recognized as such by the State of Michigan on June 24, 2004. The corporation was formed for charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. More specifically, the council was formed to help stimulate, promote, and develop interest in the arts, crafts, and humanities by providing services and information to people and organizations in the Coopersville, Michigan area. On January 21st, 2005, the Coopersville Area Arts Council received an advance IRS ruling officially granting us provisional 501(c)(3) status, retroactive to June 24, 2004. Contributions to our organization are deductible under section 170 of the IRS Code.

Membership

Membership in the CAAC is any person, family, organization, and/or business that believes in the corporation's purposes.




Annual dues: $10 per individual, $20 per family, $30 for organization memberships.





Members may be entitled to reduced attendance fees or purchase fees.





Eligible member discounts are limited to 2 per INDIVIDUAL membership, 4 per FAMILY membership, and 10 per ORGANIZATION membership.
